I Kinda Miss Role-playing Games

Pen and paper ones. Especially Cthulhu, Empire of the Petal Throne, and D&D.

Haven’t played them in years, and I live in a really small town so there’s little chance, but I kinda miss those game sessions.

Anyone out there a regular rpger, and if so, what are you playing? Or have console and computer RPGs replaced that experience for you?

  2. comiccharm said: I’m a big table-top gamer! Until recently I was playing Dungeons and Dragons but now we’re playing the Star Wars role playing game. (I also play World of Warcraft and enjoy both.) But IMO tabletop gaming is more personal and a great way to chillax.

  8. gynaecoid said: I love D&D (4th edition is great!) but rarely get a chance to play - my siblings, a.k.a. my group, are usually busy, as am I. It’s easier to play a MMO with people these days. It’s different, but fills the same kind of social gaming hole for me.
