What is going on at Archie Comics? I mean, when did they decide to just throw down the gauntlet of progressiveness in comics?

I don’t know, but HOW FUCKING AWESOME IS IT?

Seriously, that Archie, ARCHIE, would be blowing the big companies away with a progressive message the way they have been is nothing less than miraculous. I love them for it.

When the people running Archie were asked if they were worried about controversy (regarding having a gay male lead character in their family-friendly books), they responded in the best possible way. “We don’t care if bigots don’t like our comics.”
