One of my favorite things in the world is a website put together and run by a group of hilarious, ferocious women, called GEEKTRESS.
These women post funny stuff, they review things, they write thoughtful piece, and just make the world better in general, all with a geek slant. If you love it and you’re a geek like me, it’s probably been covered somewhere at Geektress.com.
They also do a terrific podcast, a fun, chatty, conversational show about everything from comics to film to books to everything else that’s great.
In short, I love these women and I love what they do. They’ve been doing this for years and have only gotten better.
However, due to some creepy hackers, they are a bit down right now, and they may not be able to keep their site and podcast going.If you follow me and you believe in girl geekhood, could you do me a favor and check them out? Check out their site, facebook page, twitter feed, whatever, but most especially, check out their fun podcast. You’ll enjoy it as much as I do.
Then, you could really do them and me a favor by doing a signal boost. Reblog this post, OR just post links to your own followers. Let’s show them that what they are doing is appreciated. We have lost LOTS of ambitious female-led geeksites over the last couple years and I don’t want to see it happen again. Just a little signal boost could really help.
