Boromir!

I swear…I am reading Lord Of The Rings again and dammit, it gets me every time!


I want to shout at him not to try to take the ring. And what happens after chokes me up like no other section of the book every time. How he tries to make up for his mistake, how he realizes his folly, too late, and how his dying thoughts are of Gondor and Aragorn.

I love the books, but Boromir is my favorite, because he breaks my heart EVERY TIME.
