What is Your Favorite Superhero Movie?

I will say the only restriction is that it be a film, not a television show, cool?

Just curious, really.

Anyone? Mine would have to be, of all that I love, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. I mean think about it… half of the Dark...

Batman: Under the Red Hood, and The Dark Knight. Eternal soft-spot for Batman (1989). Avengers, too.

Favorite, of all time? The Avengers. Favorite one to kick back & watch, on a rainy day? Superman: The Movie, or...

I love the Hellboy movies by LIKE A LOT- despite how much they make me wince like I should be ashamed. I REALLY like the...
  17. helenawaynehuntress said: The Avengers. I liked that the film was produced in a way that doesn’t feel embarrassed to be a superhero movie and managed to take an “out worldly” concept and translate it well on film. It also showed that a hero ensemble movie CAN be made and work.
  18. adlegend21 said: Batman: Under the Red Hood or the Dark Knight Rises
  19. plusonecard said: The Incredibles. If we’re just looking at Big Two, though, I’d easily choose Thor on the Marvel side, but would waffle between The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises among DC flicks.
  20. barbaraasbatgirlrocks reblogged this from gailsimone and added:
It used to be V for Vendetta until X-Men First Class came out. I love that movie because it is entertaining and fun...

Probably Captain America: The First Avenger, but if we can pick non-licensed films I’d also give an indie flick named...
  22. wiccabuffy said: The Dark Knight because it was so awesome as a film, the original Superman because of nostalgia, & Avengers for the Joss Whedon dialogue.

It’s a tie, actually, between the first Iron Man and The Dark Knight.

  33. notezbeingreen said: I know this sounds ridiculous because I don’t know anyone else who likes it, but Mystery Men. I feel like if the movie had come out about 10 years later, the public would have eaten it up. I love the movies out now, but none of them really poke fun at the superhero culture…
  34. tealplaid said: Either Thor or Batman Returns.
  35. cookiediesel said: Buckaroo Banzai, no contest.
  36. rayegunn said: Avengers. I liked the interactions of the characters, and the action scenes were awesome, and, of course, Chris Hemsworth. ;) Just a total package for me.

  40. cortexiphankid47 said: Honestly what comes to mind is Batman: TDKR mainly for Bane/Talia and Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. I loved the Avengers and so many others, but I could see myself watching that one a million times and still being happy with their portrayals.
  41. rainbowsburningstars said: I really love the batman movie with Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman. of the animated films I love Crisis on two Earths and Superman vs The Elite!
