Savant makes inner-circle after the badassery on the docks.
How is being considered an ally by the Black freaking Canary, especially after having gotten off to a really hostile start, not considered exquisitely bamftastic? >3 And Savant’s dialogue here is just rife with character development, to boot. He’s always cloaked himself in bravado and arrogance to hide his internalized inadequacies, but now that working with the Birds is stripping that cockiness away, it’s also revealing a man who’s well-aware of his abilities but still fighting with deeply-ingrained feelings of inadequacy that almost comes off as - dare I say it - civil! There’s your burger-flippin’ character growth, right there.
Barbara: No, I swear, it was like this big…
Adriana Melo on the art, doing lovely work…love that woman!
Look at Savant there! Just a perfect mix of hope and doubt.
