Urgh. I Was Happy An Hour Ago

So I went back and read a long thread from this week that caused some people to be upset. I had given it a lot of thought, but hadn’t gone back and read the whole thing.

You know what sucks?

Finding out you’ve been a douchebag.

Bleah.

Some of the stuff I thought was very polite and patient was most definitely not, and a couple of things I stated so badly I want to punch MYSELF in the face.  One of the dumbest things I said reads like a lecture about stuff I know absolutely nothing about, because I forgot to add the key preface, “As a writer…” so it sounds like I’m explaining gay love to gay people, not my process in how I write gay love, which is what I meant to say.

I’m sure they all found my insights into their lives WONDERFULLY HELPFUL.

Shit.
