Reblogging some Kimiyo Hoshi, aka Doctor Light. :D Why? Because she’s yet another underrated badass of the DCU.
I agree Dr. Light does kick ass.

I love this character. LOVE her. Freaking adore her. I also think she’s one of the most misused characters anywhere in the DCU. Her character changes from book to book, her badassery is constantly being neutered, and she’s been absolutely chumped so many times. Asian female HEROES are very rare in the DCU, as well.
I wanted to use her in Birds of Prey, wanted to use her (as a threat) in Villains United, wanted to have her appear in Action Comics, and every time she was unavailable. I got to do a short scene with her in Birds of Prey, but what I really want to do is have her regularly for a while, and show how amazing she is. I haven’t read all the recent stuff with her, they may be already doing a kickass job.
But she’s one of the characters I dream about getting to write. Dangit.
